Mother Blessing
A Mother Blessing is an intimate ceremony honouring a woman as she makes her transition from Maiden to Mother.
It is a safe and nurturing space where she can be showered with love, support and blessings for her birth and journey into motherhood.
Pregnancy and childbirth is a rite of passage, a time of huge physical and emotional transformation.
The way in which a woman is supported during her rite of passage will have a huge impact on her birth and her mothering experience.
By gathering together and bearing witness to the mother as she crosses this threshold, it is the hope that she will leave her blessing feeling seen, heard and acknowledged with a deep knowing and trust in her body and her baby.
It is also a beautiful opportunity, whilst surrounded by her closest sisters (who will become her village once her baby is earthside) to ask for what type of support she will need from them in her fourth trimester.
Package includes:
A 30 minute planning call via zoom so we can get know each other and also discuss how you would like the day to look and feel. We can discuss: putting together the guest list, the format for the day, what rituals to include and any special touches you would like to add
All supplies are included in the cost including cushions, styling, ritual tools and craft supplies
I will arrive 45 minutes before guests arrive to set up the space and get you grounded with a herbal foot bath
Once the formal blessing is finished, I will discreetly pack up and leave you to connect with your guests
